University of Verona, supported by a joint project with SICIT 2000, has been carrying out for 3 years a scientific research with the SICIT hydrolyzed proteins, in order to study the role of peptides in biostimulants.
We obtained very positive results, which makebetter understand the genetic mechanisms throughwhichthe peptides, are able to stimulate plants physiological activity. The research results are published on the scientific magazine "Frontiers in Plant Scienceā€ with title: Growth Stimulatory Effects and Genome-Wide Transcriptional Changes Produced by Protein Hydrolysates in Maize Seedlings .

The study is consolidating the acquired results, to evaluate the effects of hydrolyzed proteins in stressed conditions and identify the most biologically active peptides classes.
